What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a Gastrointestinal functional disorder in which abdominal pain or discomfort is commonly associated with changes in the bowel habits or defecation.
Causes of IBS (Food sensitivities like Dairy or Gluten), Inflammation, Environment (Bacterial, Parasite, Yeast), Digestive Enzymes.
Processed foods, high fructose, corn syrups, refined breads and cereals, chips, cookies, coffee, carbonated drinks, high protein diets and dairy products, especially cheese.
Abnormal contractions of muscles in the intestinal walls.
Over eating or binge eating.
Eating too quickly or irregularly eating.
Stress anxiety or depression.
