Constipation

Healthy colon VS. Toxic Colon

Constipation is a common digestive problem.  It is the inability to completely evacuate the bowels or passing very hard stools know as constipation.  This prevalent problem is due to an incorrect lifestyle, of poor eating habits, lack of exercise, medications, gluten sensitivity, inadequate water, fiber, and vegetable intake, heavy caffeine use, food intolerance such as dairy ice cream, cheese, meats, sugar, processed foods etc.

This causes you to strain when you are having a bowel movement.  Sometimes you may experience bowel movement 2 times per weeks and in some cases once every two weeks if not more.  Bowel habits varies among everyone, a “normal” bowel movement is 3 per day.

Constipation can cause the PH to altered leading to a Enzyme Dysfunction, toxic overload causing you to have a leaky gut syndrome.  Some of the symptoms can be such as headaches, fatigue, nausea, bloating and abdominal pain.

What Causes Constipation?

The main problem occurs with the movement of the stools being very slow.  As the stool stays in the large intestine too long, the water is removed from the stool. This make the stool hard and dry, making it difficult to expel our system making us have constipation.  Also when we don’t listen to our body ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement.  we need to make enough time to use the restroom before leaving our house and during the day as well.

Common causes of constipation depression, low dietary fiber, poor mobility, muscle weakness, lack of privacy, reduced fluid intake or dehydration, side effects of medications, disease processes.
